Currently, the Department of Immunobiology is seeking highly motivated applicants for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate I in the Kuhns lab. This challenging position requires a high level of enthusiasm, dedication, and drive for applicants interested in studying the molecular mechanisms of T-cell activation and cell fate decisions (Pubmed search: Kuhns MS).

Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct independent experiments, evaluate the data, and keep appropriate records of all research activities.
Read the literature, participate in scientific discussions with other members of the lab, and attend mandatory lab meetings.
Perform assigned lab duties to assist in the maintenance of stock reagents or the general operation of the lab, and various other duties or projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Minimum Qualifications
PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, or related fields.
Experience with modern molecular biology, biochemistry, and tissue culture techniques.
Basic understanding of protein structure/function relationships and signal transduction.
PhD or MD.
Experience with fluorescent live cell imaging.
Basic Immunological concepts.
